How we build Next.js apps for startups to scale globally

Published on August 20, 2026 • 4 min read

When a founder comes to us at Gloud Tech Solutions with a brief, they usually have two constraints: time-to-market and runway. They need a product that looks enterprise-ready from day one, but they can't afford the infrastructure overhead of an enterprise team.

This is why we standardized our web application delivery on Next.js.

The Power of the App Router

Next.js App Router fundamentally changed how we build React applications. Server Components allow us to fetch data securely on the backend without writing separate API routes for every single UI element. This reduces our shipped JavaScript bundle size drastically, resulting in faster load times for end users.

Our Go-To Stack

  • Framework: Next.js (App Router)
  • Styling: Tailwind CSS + Framer Motion for animations
  • Database: Supabase (PostgreSQL) or Firebase depending on real-time needs
  • Deployment: Vercel for edge caching and CI/CD out of the box

Why Vercel?

Deploying to Vercel means our clients don't need a dedicated DevOps engineer on day one. Previews are generated automatically on every pull request, allowing stakeholders in Dublin or Islamabad to test features in real-time before they merge to production.
